Meet Your rochester Music Teachers
At Fret & Bow Music Academy, we believe music isn’t just a skill—it’s a way of living with curiosity, discipline, and joy. Whether you’re a child discovering your first notes or an adult returning to a long-lost passion, we guide each student to find their own voice through music. We go beyond weekly appointments to bring students personalized journeys that blend musicianship, creativity, and real-world experience.
As your local string community, we meet students where they are and help them build the confidence to express themselves fully—on stage, at home, or simply for the love of playing. Here, mistakes are celebrated, goals are made realistic, and success is measured by growth and connection. At Fret & Bow, we build musicians, one inspired note at a time.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
What makes us unique is the uniqueness in you. There are so many ways to make music a part of your life. From the casual campfire strummer to the celebrated concert artist and everything in between, Fret & Bow can help you fulfill your musical dreams. In addition to excellent teaching, we strive to create opportunities for students. Collaborating with other musicians, performing around the area, acing auditions, and more!
